Ethan is a Director of Digital Mapping Solutions.  He brings over 11 years of Information Technology and Geographic Information Systems knowledge to DMS.

His role at DMS is to provide consulting services to clients, direction within the newly formed DMS company, client development advice, and training relating to all technological aspects of the business.

While Ethan's career started at South Waikato District Council he moved on after 2 years and moved to Waitakere City Council where he spent over 4 years working on specialized spatial projects for the council. This included setting up the Asset Management systems and Services Capture and maintenance systems.

Ethan also has vast knowledge of the United Kingdom local government spatial systems and Australian spatial industries. For the past 4 years he has been overseas gaining valuable international experience within the respective spatial industries. While working in a fast paced mining industry in Perth Western Australia, Ethan provided clients with solutions that often integrated spatial software with business applications.  He also became a Certified MapInfo Trainer while working at DMS Australia.

In terms of technical skills Ethan brings a vast knowledge of Microsoft Suite of applications including server and desktop software. When it comes to GIS applications he has trained in both ESRI and MapInfo software and more recently aligned his skills to the ever-changing GIS industry when deploying spatial software via the internet.

Sarah is a Director of Digital Mapping Solutions.  Her role is to promote the solutions and services offered by DMS. Sarah brings 10 years of GIS industry experience to DMS gained in large part working for and with government throughout New Zealand and Australia. Sarah has developed a wide knowledge of the value of spatial information within large government organisations, and the many supporting businesses that service government.

Sarah has an excellent understanding of the business processes and responsibilities of government under legislation in delivering services to their customers in New Zealand.  Importantly Sarah has been an end user of the IntraMaps solution for the last two years in New Zealand and firmly believes it is the leading web mapping solution in terms of functionality, ease of use and value for money.

Simon is a Director of Digital Mapping Solutions.  He brings over 19 years GIS experience to DMS and 23 years Local Government experience, having worked previously for Wanganui District Council and Napier City Council.

For over 11 years Simon has also provided GIS consulting services to organisations in New Zealand and Australia, focusing on both desktop and web mapping systems.

His expertise is reflected in the winning of several prestigious awards including the 2003 ALGIM Innovation Award and in 2010 a Pitney Bowes Meridian Award, both for projects involving web mapping technology.

An acknowledged web mapping technology expert amongst his peers, Simon brings to DMS a vast knowledge of not only web mapping technology but also web platforms and services in general.

In terms of desktop GIS, Simon has a vast knowledge of MapInfo software products and is a Pitney Bowes Exponare Accredited Professional.
